About Us
Hunter Pharmacy Services, Inc. was founded in 1987 by J. Michael Hunter, RPh, to address the pharmacy management needs of small- to medium-sized hospitals. For over 20 years, HPS has provided hospital pharmacy management and consulting services to acute care, long-term acute care, rehabilitation, and surgical hospitals. A new service now being offered is remote order entry and verification for those facilities needing medication orders verified after hours by a pharmacist. Hunter Pharmacy Services, Inc. takes pride in listening to and understanding our customer’s needs.

J. Michael Hunter, RPh - President/CEO
Mr. Hunter is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. He envisioned HPS, Inc. as a company that specialized in the provision of quality, cost effective pharmacy care. He founded Hunter Pharmacy Services in 1987 and has been successful in building a corporation that services the needs of the customer. Mr. Hunter and his dedicated staff strive to continuously improve pharmacy operations and exceed each client’s expectation.
